Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development Fund ("SEED Fund") primarily aims to address the financial need of the entrepreneurs through Incubators.

The idea of Seed fund is providing Capital assistance on an ‘Equity basis to startups with new and meritorious ideas and innovative Technologies which can transform into a commercially viable products.

Eligibility criteria

Major shareholding of the company (min. 51%) to be held by the women entrepreneur
Start-ups to be an incorporated company
Start-ups to have proof of concept ready
Start-ups need to be working in field of Life science, Med - Tech, Digi Tech & Data Sciences.

Startup India Seed Fund Scheme

Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS) aims to provide financial assistance to startups for proof of concept, prototype development, product trials, market entry and commercialization.

This would enable these startups to graduate to a level where they will be able to raise investments from angel investors or venture capitalists or seek loans from commercial banks or financial institutions.
