In a country which is said to have the world's youngest population by 2020, investments in education and skill development are seen to be crucial, especially training girls more so in the sciences as a stream where girls are present in large numbers. Over the years, one of the focus areas of the Park has been offering training and capacity building, in the stream of biotechnology, in partnership with the existing entrepreneurs. Mostly girls and women have benefitted from the campus as short and long term interns. The training and capacity building will be under the broad area of life sciences with specific focus in biotechnology and the duration and vacancies will be announced through the web site of the Park / Individual entrepreneurs.
The Park is proposing to enhance this to a larger group of students, preferably girls and women faculty / researchers / entrepreneurs, by inviting an Expression of Interest from colleges offering Life Sciences / Biotechnology at the B.Tech / M.Tech / M.Sc levels and also entering into a formal MoU with the Park. Please find enclosed a format for Expression of Interest to be sent to the undersigned at the earliest for the students / women to be part of interns at the Park.
